The Northeast Ohio Genius Project is a nine-week challenge in math, science, art and financial literacy. It inspires creative thinking, team building and problem solving skills.
Three APS schools -- Seiberling, NIHF STEM Middle School and Miller South School for Visual and Performing Arts (pictured below) -- participated. Miller South took home the trophy for Outstanding Art Piece in the competition.
Each student received a mystery box and had nine weeks to solve a challenge and create a project. The Genius Rally is the project's culminating event held this year at the Great Court of the Cultural Center for the Arts in Canton. Fifty schools from the region participated.
