The GLover CLC Gazette's annual newspaper sales benefited Project RISE this year. A team of teachers and volunteers inspired a talented group of students to create and sell a school newspaper every month. The goal was to raise $1,000, and the team raised $800 by the end of May. The Project RISE staff were invited to the school to meet the class and accept the donation on June 4. The teacher in charge of this project was Dana Davis, helped by Sandy Shoemaker (another Glover CLC teacher) and Barbara Edwards (a volunteer). The Glover students were Rhylynn, Jai'den, Samantha, Je'Lena, Aubrey, Zaviarre and Suree.
