
It's that time of year when elementary and secondary education Teacher of the Year committee members go out to our schools with intent to surprise our division teacher of the year winners.
Here are this year's divisional champs who now move on to be considered for the top honor of APS Teacher of the Year.
Elementary Division Winners:
- Cynthia Rochford, Glover CLC, Instructional Specialist (Coach)
- Leslie Naselsky, Seiberling CLC, Sixth Grade Math/Science
- Nicole Villers, Resnik CLC, Intervention Specialist (Primary MD)
- Jennifer Wicks, Findley CLC, Fourth Grade
Secondary Division Winners:
- Kara Gooden, Hyre CLC, Intervention Specialist
- Rebecca Hixon, Ellet High School, Restaurant
- Rebecca Moga, Litchfield CLC, Science
- Daniel Spak, Firestone CLC, Project Lead the Way
Each winner will receive:
- a congratulatory letter announcing he/she has been selected as a Division Teacher of the Year and will now go on to compete for APS 2018 Teacher of the Year!
- balloons
- corsage/boutonniere
