Akron Inner City Soccer Club
The Akron Inner City Soccer Club offers free soccer camps for boys and girls ages 5-14 who live in Akron. Participants learn soccer basics and fundamentals such as first touch, shooting, dribbling and ball control in a fun, supervised environment. Benefits include endurance, flexibility, agility and friendship. Free T-shirts and soccer balls will be available as supplies last. Camps will be offered from 6 to 8 p.m. June 10-14 at Perkins Middle School, 630 Mull Ave. in West Akron; June 17-21 at Mason Park, 700 E. Exchange St. in Downtown Akron; June 24-28 at North High School, 985 Gorge Blvd.; and July 1-5 at Summit Lake, 380 W. Crosier St.

Equestrian Center at Camp Y-Noah
Day and overnight ranch camp for horse enthusiasts will take place at the Equestrian Center, part of YMCA Camp Y-Noah in Green. Several week-long day-camp sessions for a variety of ages will be offered this summer. Campers also can take part in traditional camp activities like swimming, archery and climbing. Girls on the Run Northeast Ohio
Girls on the Run (GOTR) Northeast Ohio’s new program, Camp GOTR, will be offered at two locations this summer: June 17-21 at Croghan Park, 99 N. Miller Road in Fairlawn; and July 8-12 at Hardesty Park, 1615 W. Market St. in West Akron. The camps will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and are for girls in third through fifth grades (girls must be in second, third or fourth grade at time of registration). Led by GOTR coaches, Camp GOTR will provide an opportunity for girls to develop self-confidence, have fun with friends and learn life skills they can use now and in the future. The cost is $140.

Loyal Oak Golf Club
Loyal Oak Golf Club, located at 2909 S. Cleveland-Massillon Road in Norton, is offering summer golf leagues for children ages 8-16 to learn to golf. The traditional golf program teaches new golfers the basics, and the advanced junior golfer program also will teach course management and tournament play. The programs begin June 11.

The National Basketball Academy
The National Basketball Academy (TNBA) camp for boys and girls ages 7-16 will instruct players on the essential offensive fundamentals of basketball, emphasizing ball handling, footwork/pivoting, passing, shooting, overall offense and hard work. Camps take place July 22-26 at the Cleveland Clinic Akron General Health & Wellness Center — Bath and July 29 through Aug. 2 at Old Trail School in Bath. The camp day is 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Registration includes a TNBA camp T-shirt. The camps cost $195.

Pinnacle Sports Summer Day Camp
Pinnacle Sports, located at 313 Medina Road in Granger, has several co-ed sessions of sports instruction, athletic performance training, character building and good old-fashioned summer fun for ages 5-13 beginning June 3. Offerings include soccer, baseball/softball, basketball, dodgeball, kickball, volleyball, flag football and more. Camp staff is experienced in summer camping, coaching and child development. The cost is $160 per week for MVP members or $192 for others. MVP members also can pay $1,278 for the entire summer. Campers also may attend for $40 a day for MVP members or $50 a day for others.

Towpath Tennis Center
Towpath Tennis Center, located at 2108 Akron-Peninsula Road in Merriman Valley, is offering a summer tennis program for all ages this summer. Programs include 10 and under children’s tennis, Junior Tennis Training programs, Start/ReStart Tennis for adults and more. Non-members are welcome.
