The city and Akron Children’s Hospital are giving 750 bags of summer fun and health supplies to Akron families.
The “Jump Into a Healthy Summer” program, which starts the first week of July, will provide children with frisbees, jump ropes, beach balls, cones, chalk and water bottles and parents with COVID-19 health information, face masks, thermometers, hot/cold packs and hand sanitizer.
To get a home-delivered bag, families of children aged 5-12 can register at
Lock3Live.com or by calling 330.375.2877.
