Akron Children's Museum invites you to explore the wonder and excitement of the world of trains at its second annual train event March 28-29 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Children will be able to play with trains, meet the train conductors and engineers, and explore train exhibits with local experts and fellow train enthusiasts. There will also be a free showing of the PBS movie "Dinosaur Train: I Love Trains," construction of trains out of Legos and a special ride around Lock 3 Park on the M&M Railroad trackless train. Guests can make and take home their very own Choo Choo Chow train trail mix snack, enjoy popcorn and receive a temporary train tattoo with admission. Also included in the event are Lock 3 Park (with hot food and snacks available for purchase), Home Depot (hosting a make-and-take vehicle-building workshop) and Burning River N Society (a Northeast Ohio railroad club). Tickets are $10/members and $12/non-members per day and include train activities and admission to the regular museum exhibits. Rides on the M&M Railroad Train are sold separately for $5/person between 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on both days. For more information or tickets, visit
