As one of only seven returning players this season and the only returning senior, a lot of pressure is on Dierre to help lead the Griffins. Well, this pitcher and outfielder is more than up to the task. As his coach puts it, Dierre "is a great young man and also a great leader on our team." That is high praise and is all the more motivation for him to keep giving his best. No matter what happens this year, Dierre will be doing whatever he can to keep Buchtel swinging for the stars!
