In a message to students from Sheila Cubick

EECO Region 3 Director
Congratulations, students from NIHF STEM High School who participated in Believe in Ohio during the 2021-22 school year! All students who participate in authentic research and design are winners even if all students cannot win scholarships. I have attached the results from our Winter and Spring Qualifying Competitions and our State Competition completed this summer. Teams and students listed in the Qualifying Rounds all won $1,000 scholarships and advancement to the State Competition! The scholarships won by your students at the State Competition are listed below with their Plan title. Congratulations to them and best of luck for them in the future!
I especially want to congratulate Noah Klein for being awarded a $2,500 scholarship in the first Believe in Ohio Pitch Video Contest!
The Ohio Academy of Science has added an exciting new approach for students participating in Believe in Ohio and Science Days with our online ProjectBoard platform! This will allow students to ideate through each Milepost and receive ongoing feedback from friends and mentors on their plan as they are ready to release each Milepost for review. Both the Believe in Ohio and Science Days ProjectBoard platforms will be open on September 6 for teachers to create and invite their classes and students to begin working on their plans. Meanwhile, you can begin exploring the software at our temporary “playspace” at
https://makeprojects.com/home. All accounts and projects made in this space will be deleted the last week of August!
