The Akron Area YMCA is hiring May 10 on-the-spot at two branch locations. Both locations will be hiring for Y branches in Akron, Barberton, Cuyahoga Falls, Green and Macedonia. The open positions are for summer camp counselors, child care workers and lifeguards; but other positions are also available Applicants should be 16 years or older and need to bring a valid ID; background checks and interviews will be done at the same time. The hiring times and locations are as follows:
- 11 a.m.-2 p.m. - Kohl Family YMCA, 477 E. Market St., Akron
- 3:30-5:30 p.m. - Riverfront Family YMCA, 544 Broad Blvd., Cuyahoga Falls
