Enjoy "An Evening to Remember" on Oct. 15 at the John S. Knight Center (77 E. Mill St.) to celebrate Project GRAD Akron's 20th year of providing programs, services and scholarships to benefit APS students. The evening includes valet parking, a reception, dinner, Champions of GRAD awards, a keynote speaker, silent and oral auctions, raffles, desserts, dancing, and much more. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with registration followed by a reception including auctions and raffles beginning at 6 p.m. and the dinner and program beginning at 7 p.m. Desserts and dancing will conclude the evening. The first $50,000 of the Gala's net proceeds will support scholarships for students at Buchtel and East, and the additional revenue will support programs and services for students from kindergarten through college.
