Akron Public Schools, its partners and the Akron Zoo have again put together an exciting and fun couple of days for students and families at the zoo.
Over the last two days, students received backpacks or drawstring bags that included items they need for school. Thousands of APS families attended, greeted by animals and different costumed characters.
"We love this event because our students and families enjoy it so much," said Superintendent Christine Fowler Mack. "We are already set to begin planning next year's event!"
