Our students competed the past week at the 2023 Business Professionals of America National Leadership Conference. This conference is a culmination of the BPA year. This was the largest National BPA with approximately 6,500 members in attendance. APS competed against other middle school students across the nation and did a fantastic job.
Desiree' Reynolds, iinstructional sspecialist at Buchtel CLC, tells us, "They have been working very hard all year, and their hard work paid off. We had five students finish in the top 10; one finished in third place! Buchtel 1040 took it to the 'stage' as national finalists representing Akron Public Schools well in Anaheim." She added, "We had good competition, food, fellowship, did some community service and had some fun! I have attached a few pictures of our trip for you to enjoy."
