Akron Public Schools again produced a top-notch chess team to send to the state tournament last week. The Akron Early College High School chess team won the Ohio Chess Championship!

They have been a part of the Jennings CLC chess club for 6-8 years, respectively.

The faculty advisers are Joanne Cook and Bruce Hukill. They created the chess club eight years ago at Jennings CLC. Charles Jones began volunteering four years ago.
Crosier, Rai, Gno and Gurung were on the first-place team for AEC.
