JROTC Cadets March in St. Patrick's Day Parade
On Saturday, March12, 2022, cadets from East CLC (Marines) MCJROTC, Ellet CLC (Navy) NJROTC and Buchtel CLC (Air Force) AFJROTC withstood the freezing cold to march in Akron's Saint Patrick's Day Parade.
Since Akron has each of the JROTC branches -- Army, Marine Corps, Navy and Air Force -- this was a spectacular sight for those who braved the weather.
A joint color guard consisting of a service flag from the different JROTC branches, along with an Akron Public Schools flag, rendered honors to the reviewing stand. City and school officials watched the mass formation pass as crowds applauded the cadets.
