
Come to the Akron Children's Museum (216 S. Main St.) on Oct. 15 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. for its Hands-On Halloween event. Children will be able to design a treat bag to fill up while completing their activity passport, make food and masks, enjoy Spooky Science stations from The University of Akron, and build a wooden craft provided by Home Depot. Adults can participate in canvas painting. Attendees may bring new fuzzy socks that will be donated to the Summit County Children Services Winter Wonderland Drive Thru for Foster and Kinship Homes as well as get a jump start on holiday shopping at the Monster Shop.
