The results are in from the Firestone CLC Choral Department's trip to OMEA (Ohio Music Education Association) State Large Group Adjudicated Event last weekend.
The Falcons were awarded for:
- Treble Choir performing in Class A (Advanced High School level repertoire): Superior
- Bass Chorus performing in Class A (Advanced High School level repertoire): Superior
- Symphonic Choir performing in Class AA (Collegiate level repertoire): Superior
During the event, each choir performed three selections for three judges. They then moved to a different room where they performed a sight reading selection. Here, as a choir, they were given four minutes with their director, Megan Meyer, to look over a piece of music and then had to sing it! Megan tells us, "We had one minute to make adjustments, and then we sang it again!!!! I could not be more proud of our 143 choral students!"
