Last week, when the Ellet Organgemen played the North Vikings, cadets in the Jr. ROTC program (US Navy) at Ellet CLC carried the colors in ceremonial tradition.

To the music provided by the great marching band from Ellet CLC, the color guard carried the U.S. and Ohio flags along with the flag of Akron Public Schools.

In the words of their Jr. ROTC U.S. Navy instructor First Class Petty Officer Joe Grieco (USN retired), " High school football games in the sun of autumn or a crisp fall evening create memories for students. Our cadets are proud to bring a message of honor and freedom."
