We wish to thank The University of Akron Office of Academic & Retention Support (OARS) for playing Santa (and elves) this week. The crew stopped by our 'house' at 10 N. Main to donate hats and gloves for APS elementary students. Staff members and students pitched in for the generous turn on behalf of our students. Our thanks, also, to Zips students who have invested the last few weeks of the Fall 2022 semester collecting hats and gloves specifically for APS students.
Hats and gloves will be given to students and families who visit the Student and Family Engagement Center (10 N. Main St.) and shared across the district to help keep students warm.
