Recognizing Student Generosity, Kindness

We have received this holiday story that is worth sending to you, even though it's January. Generosity is always worth witnessing. Master Sergeant Albert DeSarro Jr. (USAF Ret.) is the aerospace science instructor in the Air Force Jr. ROTC program at Buchtel CLC. He shares with us this story from just before our holiday break:

"Air Force JROTC has been conducting our annual Angel Tree community service project for the past 11 years. Each year we decorate the AFJROTC holiday tree with K-3 angels from Crouse, Helen-Arnold and Schumacher community learning centers. The Buchtel staff pull the angels and purchase the gifts, and AFJROTC cadets wrap and deliver on the final school day prior to the holiday break. Angel Tree is a major part of our program's community service requirement for cadets assigned to the program."
