
Your Voice Matters takes place at Buchtel CLC (1040 Copley Road) on May 26 from 6-9 p.m. (doors open at 5 p.m.). The goal of this event is to bring the community together for healing and positive change regarding the Jayland Walker verdict. The highlight of the event is circle conversations facilitated by Minority Behavioral Health Group and Project Ujima. There will be three circle groups: peace, relationships and healing. The event is a partnership with the City of Akron, The Freedom Bloc, Love Akron, The Remedy Church, Minority Behavioral Health, Project Ujima, 100 Black Men and Akron Police Department.
