The West Akron Kiwanis presents Flapjacks & Flowers 2022 on April 30 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. at Westminster Church (1250 W. Exchange St.). Proceeds for this year's event will benefit Miller South School for the Visual and Performing Arts, whose students will be performing while guests enjoy a pancake breakfast. Tickets are $10 ($8 in advance). Any APS staff member who attends will receive a complementary breakfast; just mention that you are an APS staff member invited by William Melver.
