
This was the third Leadership Symposium for Locker Room Experience at The University of Akron. More than 100 of our scholar-athletes attended presentations from community leaders. Denico Buckley-Knight from the Mayor’s Office spoke to scholars regarding the impact they make with their voices. Scholars also heard from Rev. Ray Greene, from Better Bloc, regarding how change starts with them. Scholars asked questions of Rev. Greene, about how their voices could make a difference now in their community. The University of Akron's Head Football Coach Joe Moorehead also addressed them. spoke to scholars regarding their response to leadership as leaders.
