Akron City Councilwoman and mayoral candidate Tara Mosley had a couple of purposes for her visit this week to Glover CLC in Firestone Park. Fourth-grade teacher Julie Paulus' class wanted to learn about local government from a representative of city council. Ms. Mosely came by Tuesday to discuss with students the role of local government and her place in the legislative branch. The students had good questions, as always. And Ms. Mosely just happened to bring Valentine's Day treats for each of them.
