Scholar board members and elected school board members had a fun team-building event this week at Painting With A Twist Fairlawn. Scholars and elected board members bonded over food, laughter, conversation, music and painting. During the event, they took time to discuss Akron Public Schools cell phone policy with elected board members and offer their perspectives.
The scholar board members look forward to continuing to strengthen their relationships with elected board members. A special thank-you goes to scholar board member Willem Bloss for taking photographs at the event!
