Image of STNA ClassesAkron Public Schools, in partnership with Stark State College, has a tremendous opportunity available. Recently, APS families, alums and community members gathered to learn more about what the partnership can do for them and help create a better future for families.

The two educational institutions are supporting anyone interested in taking STNA certification classes this month at Stark State. Each candidate selected to participate in the APS partnership program is awarded free tuition and fees to cover the cost of attendance. In addition to the free tuition, Akron Public Schools will also provide free books, uniforms, physicals and background checks for each of the selected program participants. The information session was held at Akron Public Schools Sylvester Small Administration Building downtown.

Akron Public Schools is committed to providing resources and opportunities to support our families and community members and to maintain a strong family foundation.
