Akron Public Schools Gifted Intervention Specialist Stephanie Lippiatt says of her students, "They amaze me every week with their strategies and creativity."
Last week, Stephanie asked her students at Pfeiffer Elementary School to create towers for her leprechaun so he had a place to save his gold.
The towers had to be at least six inches tall, and the cup had to be at the top of the tower. The biggest challenge was the limited amount of supplies and tape with which they had to work and calculate.
The winning tower was able to hold 45 real quarters!
No blarney. Not luck. All skill!
