In honor of the Akron Rubber Ducks' 2023 Home Opener today, Pfeiffer students and team wore blue and white or their favorite RubberDucks attire.
"We also had a very special visitor from the Rubber Ducks -- mascot Rubberta," Hranko told us. "The Pfeiffer Pirates are all the way in for the RubberDucks!"
The Pfeiffer team turned Rubber Duck Day into a schoolwide attendance incentive. If a student arrived to school on time today, he/she received a rubber duck necklace. Some of the necklaces had stars on the bottom which indicated that the student had won an additional attendance prize today.
