There's Always Room for Xello

Barbara Fisher's first-graders at Seiberling CLC are Xello Champions! With assistance from school counselor Tracy Burkholder, students completed their first-grade Xello requirements by visiting at least one site in the Xello Career Town. Xello is a software tool that prepares every student for college and career success. Students personalize their Xello experiences by creating an online portfolio that showcases their interests, skills and abilities and captures their plans for the future. Xello is available for all students grade K-12 in Akron Public Schools.

While visiting Career Town, Seiberling students added their favorite colors and what they liked about school to their Xello electronic portfolios. Some of the students' favorite colors are red, purple and pink. What some of the students like about school is reading, math, art and making new friends.
