Resources Will Assist in Skill Development

Image of GrantsAkron Community Foundation (ACF) has awarded a grant to Akron Public Schools for $50,000 to be invested in middle schools. The gift will allow students to explore careers in nonprofit organizations, develop strong personal and interpersonal skills that will help in school and in the community, and develop critical thinking skills by solving real-world problems within our community.

This grant will support a partner-broker who will link to nonprofits that can support the service-learning plans for each middle school.
