This 5K run and walk event, starting and finishing at Beech Street Trail, is to raise money for Akron Public Schools athletics programming and the APS Athletics Hall of Fame. The race runs from 9-10:30 a.m. on April 22. There will be an early packet pickup on April 17, 2023, from 2-5 p.m. at the Akron Board of Education (10 N. Main St.). The fundraising goal is $10,000;
