Schumacher CLC and the Pride Through Empowerment Foundation Inc. will co-host a financial academy that is open to the Buchtel Cluster and surrounding community. The academy is a monthly 90-minute program for managing money and improving finances and credit; and the program runs for six weeks beginning September 21 at 9 a.m. at Schumacher CLC (1020 Hartford Ave.).
