Last Thursday, Miller South students were invited to perform along with many other local bands for the sixth annual 330 Day Concert at the Goodyear Theatre sponsored by 91.3 The Summit (WAPS).
Our thanks to The Summit General Manager Tommy Bruno and to Robert Keith who rehearsed with the Miller South students and performed with them that evening before a crowd of nearly 900.
As special projects teacher at Miller South, Patricia Jolly tells us, "The band students opened the show: with Ryan Cash, Henry Miller, Arlo Saddleton and featured Tommy Lehman, guest artist, and MS alumni and teacher, Robert Keith. They were amazing and so very professional. The audience gave them a huge round of applause."
Right after intermission: Miller South vocal students -- Hannah (Amelia) Gippen, Jayda Blackman and Sophia Scrutchings -- sang, and not only did the audience clap but Jolly tells us, "They brought the house down with their applause!"
