For Akron Public Schools’ (APS) National Inventors Hall of Fame (NIHF) STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) High School 10th-grader Isabelle Strobel, finding solutions through technology goes beyond her everyday schoolwork. Strobel’s most recent independent study project was recognized at the Ohio Invention League’s Invention Convention Jan. 17 with one of the event’s top awards. But she is no stranger to the event.
