Eight of our female scholars were invited to the Women's Network Leadership Institute Luncheon Wednesday. They were there to learn more about women in leadership through what was presented as "A Conversation with APS Superintendent Christine Fowler Mack" at the Himelright Lodge in North Hill.
These emerging female leaders heard from Akron area women leaders including Dr. Jennifer Savitski, who is chair of the Cleveland Clinic Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
The attendees learned the importance of mentorship and networking. The female scholars had the opportunity to ask questions and receive feedback from the leaders in the room. It was a great learning experience for all who attended.
