Spreading kindness across the district, Grace Academy of Small Wonders -- a nonprofit that supports Barber CLC and Helen Arnold CLC, mentoring elementary girls around character, spiritual awareness, mental well-being, social skills and etiquette -- hosted a KINDNESS IS LOVE Valentine's Day Luncheon Saturday, Feb. 11. The goal was to get elementary girls acclimated to the idea that being kind is love and away from the culture's idea that love is solely romantic The girls did "random acts of kindness" at the luncheon focusing on others instead of focusing solely on themselves.
